Frank Drenik, 55, 259 Alexander Ave., Strabane, died at his home at 1:30 a.m., Sunday, after an illness of seven months.
Drenik was a meat cutter and manager of the cooperative store in Strabane for 15 years.
Born in Austria on Oct. 6, 1886, he was the son of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Drenik and lived in this district for 29 years. He was a member of the KSKJ, JSKJ and SNPJ in Strabane, and the Loyal Order of Moose and FOE in Canonsburg.
He is survived by three sons, a daughter, and two brothers and two sisters in Europe. The children are Frank of Clairton, Private Joseph of Fort Sam Houston in Texas, William at home, and Mrs. Mary Buchanan of Strabane.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 10:30 a.m. from the late home with additional services at St. Patrick Church in charge of the Rev. Father J. Edward Istocin. Interment will follow in St. Patrick Cemetery.

DRENIK FUNERAL SERVICES
A large number of relatives and friends attended the funeral services for Frank Drenik, held yesterday morning at 10:30 a.m. from his late home on Alexander Ave. with Rev. J. Edward Istocin in charge. Many floral tributes surrounded the casket, and the pallbearers were Joseph Senkinc, Anthony Senkinc, Frank Kern, John Koplich, John Tershel and Albin Florganic. Interment followed in the church cemetery.
Among the out-of-town relatives were his son, Private Joseph Drenik, stationed at Houston Texas, Mr. and Mrs. John Benson of Toledo, Ohio, and Joseph Berus of Akron, Ohio.
