Funeral services for Mrs. Lillie Mae Walker Meadows, 77, of Livingston will be conducted at 11 a.m., Tuesday, September 21 from the Chapel of Speck Funeral Home, Livingston, TN with burial in Good Hope Cemetery, Livingston, TN. There will be an Eastern Star service prior to the funeral service. The family will receive friends from 4 until 9 p.m. on Monday evening. Mrs. Meadows died September 19, 2004 at Livingston Regional Hospital. She was born May 20, 1927 in Overton County to the late Wiley and Rosie Thrasher Walker. She was a factory worker and homemaker. She was a member of First Baptist Church and Livingston Eastern Star Chapter #206. She is survived by her husband, James E. Meadows of Livingston; 1 daughter, Barbara Meadows Hake of Hendersonville, NC; sons, Bronnie Meadows of Livingston, Rod Meadows of Monroe, Clifton Meadows of Franklin, IN, & Donald Meadows of Trafalgar, IN; a sister, Opal Walker Nolan of Livingston; 11 grandchildren & 25 great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents and a son, Ronald Meadows. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
