For Calvin Crenshaw, 74

JANUARY 12 — Calvin A. Crenshaw, 74, of Farmville passed away Sunday evening, January 10, 2010 in Farmville. He was born December 4, 1935 in Lunenburg County, the son of the late Monroe Watson and Edith Echols Crenshaw. Mr. Crenshaw was a retired painter.
He is survived by his children, Calvin Jr., Calvin Andrew Garrett, Kathy Lynn, Cindy Ann Pollard and Angela Rogerson; brothers, Hugh Crenshaw of Green Bay and Jerry Crenshaw of Burkeville; sisters, Lois Elder and special friend, Charlie of Lynchburg, Audrey Schaeffer of Farmville and Peggy Talbott and husband, Tommy of Halifax and seven grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his sister, Gaynell McCormick.
A graveside service will be held Wednesday at 11 a.m. at Cool Springs Christian Church Cemetery in Ontario, VA.
Memorials may be made to a charity of your choice.
