Mrs. Anna Mae Tichenor, a former resident of Tipton, will be buried in Fairview cemetery Tuesday afternoon following funeral services in Lafayette.
The 71 year old woman died at St. Elizabeth hospital in Lafayette at 12:45 a. m. Sunday. She was a resident of this city for 35 years. Last rites are planned at 2 p. m.
Mrs. Tichenor and her husband, John William Tichenor, were married Feb. 20, 1897. His death occurred
in 1930. The couple had nine children, three of whom died
at an early age. Mrs. Tichenor was a member of the Gospel Workers church.
For the past 15 years, Mrs. Tichenor resided with a daughter, Mrs. Pauline Jones. Other children surviving
are Mrs. Margaret Miller, of Tipton; Willard, of Noblesville;
Edward, of Indianapolis; Eunice and Edna, of Frankfort.
