Glen Arthur Bass, was born in Lucas County, Iowa September 18, 1905. He departed this life, April 13, 1975 at the Lucas County Memorial Hospital, having obtained the age of 69 years, 6 months and 25 days.
Glen was the son of Albert Joseph and Minola McLauglin Bass. His parents preceded him in death as did brothers, Floyd, Earl and Fred; and sisters, Hazel Bass and Jessie Alexander.
He leaves to mourn his passing, his sister, Maude Clark of Blaine, Wash.; nephews, nieces, other relatives and a host of friends.
He united with the Eden Baptist Church while still a young man and remained loyal to it throughout his life.
Glen was caretaker of the Humeston City Park and custodian of the Humeston Baptist Church for more than a decade.
