Funeral services for Helen Louise West of Marshfield and formerly of Fordland were held Saturday, March 13, 2010, at the Fraker Funeral Home of Marshfield. Burial followed in the Welch Cemetery, under the direction of the funeral home.
Mrs. West, 72, died Tuesday, March 9, 2010, at St. John's Hospital in Springfield.
She was born on July 26, 1937, in Marshfield to Gayford and Alma Haggard Willis.
On January 20, 1956, she married Homer West.
They were long time dairy farmers and attended the Mount Gillian Southern Baptist Church.
Preceding her in death were her parents; two brothers, Glenn Willis and Leafford Willis; and three sisters, Nola Dalton, June West and Roberta Mansker.
Survivors include her husband, Homer, of the home, a son , two brothers and four sisters and four grandchildren.
