Christopher Carl Lee, 32, of Meldrim, died Friday, March 12, 2010 at Hospice Savannah. Chris was born in Savannah on March 1, 1978, and graduated from Hershel V. Jenkins in 1997. He loved the great outdoors, and learned to hunt and fish from his grandfather "Papa" Deal. His passion for life and love of people will never be forgotten.
He is survived by his mother, Debra R. Wothe of Meldrim; father, Carl Earl Lee of Savannah; sister, Rebecca Lee of Pt. Wentworth; grandfather, Edward Deal of Bulloch County; half brother, Daniel Wothe of Meldrim; stepbrothers, Chad and Justin Oliver of Savannah; step sister, Leslie Statham of Savannah; nephews Devan and John Christopher; and niece, Emily Rose; as well as numerous cousins, aunts, uncles, and friends.
Visitation will be held from 6-8 p.m. on Sunday, March 14, at Fairhaven Funeral Home.
Funeral Service will be held at 3 p.m. on Monday at the chapel of Fairhaven with Pastor Eddie Tomberlin officiating.
Burial will follow at Oak Hill Cemetery in Meldrim.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Chris Lee's name to the building fund of his church, International Worship Center (IWC) PO Box 399 Bloomingdale, GA 31302.
