Wife of Late President Brigham H. Roberts Meets Death

Mrs. Celia Ann Dibble Roberts, 71, widow of the late President Brigham H. Roberts of the First Council of Seventy, dies at 7:30 a.m. today at her home in Centerville.

Mrs. Roberts has long been an outstanding Church worker and has been active in Primary and Relief Society in Centerville. She was also an active member of the Daughters of Utah Pioneers.

Born in Centerville Aug. 3, 1864 the daughter of Philo Jr. and Antionette Cleveland Dibble, Mrs. Roberts spent her entire life in that community. She was married to Brigham H. Roberts n the onld Endowment House in Salt Lake City, Oct. 2, 1884,. President Roberts died in 1933.

Mrs. Roberts is survived by the following children: Harold D. Roberts, Lawrence Roberts and Naola Roberts, all of Centerville; Mrs. Hazel Moss of Woods Cross; Mrs. Josie Naylor of Bountiful; Miss Georgia Roberts of Logan, and David K. Roberts of Salt Lake City. Also surviving are five brothers Edwin C. Dibble and David D. Dibble, of Salt Lake City; George Dibble and Roy Dibble both of Layton; R.K. Dibble of Logan and a sister Mrs. Richar Sedgewick of Layton.

Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday at 1 p.m. in the Centerville Ward Chapel, under the direction of Bishop Wesley E. Tingey. Friends may call at the home in Centerville. Interment will take place in the Centerville City Cemetery.

Funeral Services For Celia A. Dibble Roberts, Tuesday

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, at 1 p.m., in the Centerville First Ward chapel for Celia Ann Dibble Roberts, wife of the late B.H. Roberts, who died of heart disease after an illness of several months. Bishop Wesley E. Tingey will be in charge of the services and interment will be in the Centerville cemetery.

Funeral Services Held Tuesday For Mrs. Celia Roberts

Funeral services were held Tuesday in the Centerville First Ward chapel for Celia Ann Dibble Roberts, widow of B.H. Roberts.

The speakers were President Heber J. Grant, Richard R. Lyman of council of twelve apostles, John H. Taylor of the first council of seventies; Patriarch Dave E. Layton of the North Davis stake and Bishop Wesley E. Tingey were the speakers. Music was furnished by a mixed quartet, solo by Mrs. Hattio Smith, a solo by Mrs. Lily Trimbath and a duet by Charles Taylor and Loraine Winegar Lee. Pres. Rulon S. Wells offered the opening prayer, Rufus K. Hardy the benediction and Bishop J.N. Ford dedicated the grave in the Centerville cemetery. Grandsons acted as pallbearers.
