Funeral for Trudie Weaver Kelsoe, 91, of Speake will be Wednesday, Feb. 25, 2004, at 1 p.m. at Lebanon United Methodist Church, Alabama 157, Speake, with Bro. Ted Agee and Bro. Estes Hardin officiating and Parkway Funeral Home directing. The body will be at the church one hour prior to the service.
Burial will be in Lebanon Cemetery, Alabama 36, Speake. Visitation will be tonight from 6 to 9 at the funeral home.
Mrs. Kelsoe died Sunday, Feb. 22, 2004, at her daughter's home in Speake. She was born April 25, 1912, in Lawrence County to John Bird Weaver and Lila Belle Folsom Weaver. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 71 years, Jesse Leldon Kelsoe; two sons, infant Clayton Kelsoe and Lyle Olen Kelsoe; one brother, John Auston "J.A." Weaver; two sisters, Francis Weaver Boland Johnson and Birdie V. Weaver Parker.
She was an active member of the Lebanon United Methodist Church in Speake.
Survivors include one son, Houston W. Kelsoe and wife Dean of Falkville; one daughter, Margaret Kelsoe Richard and husband Stanley of Speake and daughter-in-law, Mignonette W. Kelsoe of Moulton; one brother, W. David Weaver of Hartselle; three sisters, Icle Weaver Gist and Iler Weaver Heaps, both of Moulton, and Audria Belle Weaver Anders of Hartselle; eight grandchildren and spouses, Roy Houston Kelsoe and Jeanette of Hartselle, Eddie Dean Kelsoe of Panama City, Fla., Warren Rea Kelsoe and Angela of Moulton, Gregory Lyle Kelsoe of Orlando, Fla., Andy Weems and Amanda, Todd O. Kelsoe and Michelle, Kim Mason Crumley and Mark, and Pam Mason , all of Speake; 13 great grandchildren, Brian Kelsoe, Latasha Kelsoe Davis, Eric Kelsoe, Daniella Davis, Josh Crumley, Blake Crumley, Hunter Kelsoe, Forrest Kelsoe, Sawyer Kelsoe, Kayla Weems, Kelsie Weems, Jessie Hutto and Colton Hutto; three stepgreat-grandchildren, Shasta Thomas, Casey Thomas and James Scott; and three great-great-grandchildren, Kerissia Davis, Courtney Davis and Amber Davis.
Pallbearers will be her grandsons.
