Robert C. Schlee, IBM Employe, Dies
Robcert C. Schlee, 42, of 909 10th St. NW, a staff assistant at IBM, died Sunday at Rochester Methodist Hospital of cancer.
He was born Oct. 17, 1932, here and graduated from Rochester High School in 1950. He then served four years in the U. S. Navy. He married Cheryel Miller in Lewiston on July 5, 1973.
Mr. Schlee was active in the Rochester Youth Hockey and football programs, the VFW and Elks Lodge.
Surviving are his widow; two sons, Steven and Daniel at home; one daughter, Lisa at home; his parents, Mrs. and Mrs. Otto Schlee of Rochester; maternal grandmother, Mrs. William Wenzel of Pine Island; paternal grandmother, Mrs. Mary Schlee of Rochester; two sisters, Mrs. Virgil (Carol) Hoffman of Plainview and Mrs. John (Marcia) Thede of Kimberly, Wis.
The funeral will be 2 p.m. Wednesday at Gloria Dei Lutheran Church with the Rev. Thomas Anderson officiating. Burial will in Oronoco Cemetery.
Friends may call at Ranfranz Funeral Home after 11 a.m. Tuesday and until noon Wednesday and then at the church one hour before the service.
The family prefers memorials to the Rochester Youth Hockey or the American Cancer Society.
