"Genealogy of Early Settlers in Trenton and Ewing 'Old Hunterdon County,' New Jersey," by EF & WS Cooley, Baltimore: General Publishing Co., 1977 also lists Cornelius and Henry as children.

John migrated from Long Island, New York to Ewing Twp., Hunterdon (now Mercer) Co., New Jersey about 1705, along with many of the other pioneer families.

His will was signed 1772.

It is assumed, but not confirmed, that John was buried in First Presbyterian Church of Ewing Cemetery. He was a founder of the church, being listed along with 16 others in 1709 as receiving the deed transfer, and lived nearby for the rest of his life.
