Frank Cleary

EL PASO -- Frank Cleary, 78, of Sunnyvale, Calif., formerly of El Paso, died Sunday morning in a hospital there. He had been a patient since Friday when he suffered his second stroke.
His funeral and burial will be in California.
Mr Cleary was born Feb 15, 1889 near El Paso, a son of John T and Mary Corbley Cleary. He married Alpha Patton Nov 25, 1920.
Surviving are his wife, a daughter Mrs Betty Kopecky, Los Altos, Calif., a son Jerry, Wheaton, three sisters, Mrs Loretta Haas and Mrs Catherine Bosworth, both of El Paso; and Mrs Madelon Ritchie of Bloomington; two brothers, Gene of El Paso; and Bonn Salem, Oregon; and five grandchildren.
A daughter preceded him in death.
Mr Cleary was a veteran of World War I. He spent his life in the El Paso area until moving to California four years ago. He worked for the Pfister Hybrid Corn Co and was a member of St Mary's Catholic Church.
