Mr. Gardis Bee Clemmons 69, Rogersville, died Tuesday, Dec 1 1998 at Florence Hospital after an extended illness.
Visitation was Wednesday evening at Loretto Memorial Chapel, Loretto, TN., The funeral will be Thursday, Dec 3, at 1 pm at Loretto Memorial Chapel with burial in Butler Cemetery.
Officiating at the funeral will be JD Yarbrough.
He was a native of Lauderdale Co. He was retired from Ford Motor co. and a member of Missionary Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his father Ben Curtis Clemmons, brothers, Bobby and Jerry Clemmons, sisters Vide Springer and May Harris, and daughter Donna Lawson.
He is survived by his wife Nellie Scott Clemmons, Rogersville, daughter Brenda Bunt, Florence, mother Nellie Lou Robertson Clemmons, Lexington, brothers, WT, Alton, David, Larry, of Lexington, Edison of Florence, sisters Eula and Rachel Clemmons of Lexington, Louise Burgess, Killen, Faye Dickerson, Killen 5 grandchildren 6 great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will include Jeremy League, joe Dickerson, Tony, Terry Clemmons, Jeff Cox, and David Bunt.
