Anna Woodbury Harston, beloved mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, returned home to her Heavenly Father on November 29, 1997, at the age of 88.

She was born on November 7, 1909 in Lovell Wyoming, to Angus Cannon and Diantha Rogers Woodbury. She married Richard George Harston on November 6, 1930, in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. He preceded her in death on July 27, 1997.At the end of World War II, Richard and Anna moved to Logan, UT where they purchased the Logan Cold Storage. She soon developed a deep interest in natural healing, and became a licensed massage therapist, specializing in Deep Muscle Therapy. She found her work very rewarding, and was able to relieve the aches and pains of many people during more than 35 years of service. She was appointed by Governor Matheson to sit on the state licensing board to help set up standards and procedures for licensing massage therapists in Utah.

She is survived by five daughters and one son: Shirley (Merrill) Millett of Draper, UT; Lynette (Sheldon) Heninger of Logan, UT; Vivian (William) Allsop of West Jordan, UT; Lorraine Harms of Danville, CA; Ruth (Julian) Martinez of Tremonton, UT; and David (Jane) Harston of Logan, UT. She is also survived by 34 grandchildren, 63 great-grandchildren, and a sister-in-law, Edra North, of Buena Park, CA. She was preceded in death by her husband, her oldest son, R. LaDell (Luasene) Harston of Sandy, UT; two infant sons, Robert Clyde and Jared; and one great-grandson.

She will be missed greatly by all who knew and loved her.

Funeral services will be held at 12 noon on Tuesday, December 2, at Allen-Hall Mortuary, 34 East Center, Logan, Utah. Friends may call from 6-8 p.m. on Monday, December 1 and one hour prior to the services. Burial will be in the Logan Cemetery.
