Evangeline Elizabeth "Tootie" (Keller) Rotterman, 89, Savannah, Missouri passed from this life on Sunday, March 14, 2010 at Shady Lawn Nursing Home, Savannah, Missouri.
Tootie was born July 2, 1920 in Hemple, Missouri to John and Carrie (Lewis) Keller.
Tootie married Frederick Rotterman on November 13, 1942 in Mineral Wells, Texas. He preceded her in death on May 2, 2006.
She was a homemaker. Tootie was creative, artistic and loved to draw. She enjoyed crafts, crocheting and animals. Tootie had a good sense of humor and a quick, dry wit. Tootie was also preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Al, Jack, Buck, Gabriel and Frank Keller; and sisters, Mae Keller; Gladys Noble; and June Krull. She will be sorely missed by her family and everyone who knew her.
Survivors include a son, John Rotterman and wife, Becky, Union Star, Missouri; daughters, Carrie Sue Lacy, Savannah, Missouri; Dixie Darnell and husband, Dan, Columbia, Missouri; sister, Ruth Crawford, Savannah, Missouri; grandchildren, Aubrey and Zachery Darnell; and Kevin Shearman; and several nieces and nephews.
Celebration of Life: 10:00 AM Thursday, March 18, 2010 at Breit-Hawkins & Gladden Funeral Home, Savannah, Missouri. Interment at Mount Auburn Cemetery, St. Joseph. Public viewing and family receiving from 6 to 8 PM Wednesday. The family suggests memorials to Kendallwood Hospice or First Presbyterian Church, Savannah.
