Granville H. James, 78, of Georgetown, DE, died Friday October 31, 1986 in Kent General Hospital, Dover.
Mr. James, a self-employed farmer and lumberman, bought and cut piling and sawed timber for more than 60 years.
He is survived by his wife, Ruth Stubbs James; three sons, Carlton G. and Richard H., both of Georgetown, and David E. of Chattanooga, Tenn; four daughters, Charlotte V. Sullivan of Georgetown, Betty J. Edgar and Barbara James Cannon, both of Harrington, and Shirley K. James of Chattanooga; 15 grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
Services were in Dodd Carey Funeral Home; Georgetown. Burial was in Asbury Cemetery near Georgetown.
