Campobello, SC - Albert Floyd "Grandpappy" Cooper, died Friday, Dec. 2, 1988 at his home in Campobello, SC. A native of Spartanburg SC and husband of Mattie Bell Fisher Cooper. Son of Solomon and Lila Skipper Cooper and member of Hillsided Baptist Church and a retired farmer. Funeral services were held 3 p.m. Sunday at North Pacolet Baptist Church officiated by Revs. John Parker and Jimmy Bennefield with interment in Church Cemetery. Survivors included: two sons, three daughters, one brother, four sisters, and ten grandchildren. He was 72 years of age at his demise.
