Mrs. Thomas lived near Nolensville. She was a native of Williamson County and a daughter of the late Irby Chesteen & Betty Smith Allen. She was married to Dave Thomas, who died in 1981. He was a semi-retired merchant.
Mrs. Thomas was a member of Triune United Methodist Church.
Survivors include five daughters, Elizabeth Baker of Triune, Joanne Powers of Nashville, Irene Neal of Brentwood, Dorothy Garrett of College Grove and Pauline Gentry of Chapel Hill; two sons, Edward Thomas of Nolensville and Allen Thomas of Donelson; 21 grandchildren; 39 great grandchildren; and two great-great grandchildren
