Ocala - Teresa Dolores Bradley, 83, of Ocala, Florida, died at Tuscany House on March 14, 2010. She is survived by her son, John, of Ocala, Florida. Teresa was born and raised in Philadelphia, where she began her more than 40 year career as a registered nurse. She also met her husband, Jack (a former WWII POW), there. They were married in 1951 and moved to Miami not long after. They enjoyed travelling, seeing much of the United States, as well as visiting South America and Europe. Besides nursing, she was very involved at her son's grade school, helping in the lunch room and in organizing the school's carnival. They moved from Miami to Ocala in 1981. She worked at Ocala Regional Medical Center in the oncology department until she retired in 1990. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to: Hospice of Marion County, PO Box 4860, Ocala, FL 34478-4860. (352) 873-7400. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, March 27, 2010 at Hiers-Baxley Funeral Home, 910 E. Silver Springs Blvd., Ocala, FL. Her remains will be cremated and interred with her husband's at Arlington National Cemetery in Virginia.
