Robert Marion Bowers died Saturday, September 11, 1999, at Parkway Medical Center Hospital.
Funeral service was a 2 p.m. on Monday, September 13, at Shelton Funeral Home with Jim Bowers and Charles Stidham officiating.
Burial was in Roselawn Cemetery.
Mr. Bowers was retired from Teledyne Brown. He was a member of County Line Church of Christ.
He is survived by his wife, Ernestine "Teenie" Bowers; three sons, Rick Bowers of Danville and Chris Bowers and Darwin Bowers, both of Moulton; three brothers, Jim Bowers of Athens, Floyd Bowers of Hartselle and John Bowers of Toney; three sisters, Elsie Wynn of Jacksonville, Fla., Pauline Moore of Mayville, Mich., and Martha Bullington of Athens; and six grandchildren.
His grandsons and nephews were the pallbearers.
