Funeral services will be held today (Thursday) at 3 p.m. for Clarence G. Mansholt, 90 of rural Keyesport. He died January 27 at 9:05 p. m. at Fair Oaks Nursing Home in Greenville.
Rev. Lisa Martin will officiate the service which will be held at the Donnell-Wiegand Funeral Home. Interment will be in German cemetery
Mr. Mansholt was born May 17, 1906 near Hookdale to Frank H. and Mary W. (Ennen) Mansholt. He never married.
Survivors include a brother, Lawrence Mansholt of near Hookdale; a sister Mrs. Alex (Marie) Johnson of rural Carlyle and nieces and one nephew.
He was preceded in death by two brothers, Edward Mansholt and a brother Wilford Mansholt in infancy.
Mr. Mansholt served in the Army during World War II and was a grain and livestock farmer. He was a member of the Hookdale E. & R. Church where he taught Sunday school and was secretary for over 23 years.
Memorials may be made to the Bond County Home Health Department.
