9/11/1833: Orphan: Warren F. Moore? Orphan's Parents: Warren F. Moore. No guardian named. Assessors: William Woodward and Benedict Moore. Property: "Wilder's Poole", 43 ac. and "Green Hills", 32 ac.+. (Annual Valuations and Assessments by Kirk Ranzetta).

7/12/1836: Admin. accts. of Warring F. Moore by Henry I. Heard, Admin. This acct. did not pay out and the estate was divided between the costs of 9 suits and the balance to 64 creditors, their portion.

James W. Jackson Moore, one of the sons, owned Moore's Hotel in Leonardtown at the time of the Civil War. This hotel was "well known" as a gathering place to smuggle men from Southern Maryland to Virginia to serve in the CSA. Two of his sons fought for the Confederacy and son Warren was killed at the Battle of Gettysburg.
