Peter was a son of Abraham and Elizabeth (Tiessinger/Dysinger) Pitsenbarger. The spelling of the surname differs within his descendants' families.
I have that he was born in Berks Co., Manheim Twp.; however, Manheim is located in Lancaster Co. The county lines may have been redrawn.
His siblings were: Jacob, Abraham, Elizabeth Ann, John, and Philip.
Prior to going to Ohio, Peter lived in Shenandoah Co, VA, and in Greene Co., TN.
The original name of the cemetery in which he is buried was Pittsenbarger-Yoder Cemetery. His wife was Mary Magdaline (Fry) Pittsenbargar, daughter of John and Wilhelmina Philippina "Phebe" (Bauze/Banze) Fry. She was born, 24 July 1789, Shenandoah Co., VA. Photo of her stone is posted here as the posting for her in Grays Cemetery does not belong to me. This photo does.
