"Fay Eric Wright, 42, of 3139 Crowder Ridge Road, died Saturday, March 6, 2010, at home.

Born in Cleveland County, Wright was a self-employed logger and member of Rehobeth United Methodist Church. Eric enjoyed being outdoors and working with his father and brother.

He was preceded in death by grandparents, Fay and Essie Foster Greene. He is survived by parents, Lewis Edgar and Patsy Greene Wright, of Shelby; spouse, Tracy Cathey Wright; sons, Daniel Cuthbertson, of the home; daughters, Taylor Wright, Mackenzie Wright and Sidney Wright, all of the home; brother, Dale Wright and wife, Carol of Shelby; sister, Jane Glover and husband, Jackie, of Shelby; and father and mother-in-law, Henry and Janice Queen Cathey, of Gastonia.

Visitation: The family will receive friends Monday from 6 to 8 p.m. at Cecil M. Burton Funeral Home

Funeral: Tuesday, 4 p.m. at Rehobeth United Methodist Church Officiated by: The Revs. Roy Miller, Jack Waters and Chuck Edmundson

Burial: Rehobeth United Methodist Church Cemetery."
