Streetman Rites In Schulenburg

VFW Memorial service for Coy W. Streetman, age 76, of Schulenburg, was held Monday, April 29 at the Schwenke-Baumgarten Funeral Home in Schulenburg. Funeral services were held Tuesday, April 30, in the First Baptist Church with the Rev. Michael Greshman officiating. Interment followed in the Schulenburg City Cemetery under the direction of Schwenke-Baumgarten Funeral Home, Schulenburg.

Mr. Streetman was born June 16, 1919 in Grapeland and he passed away Saturday, April 27, 1996. Employed by the railroad department, he was affiliated with the First Baptist Church of Shulenburg.

He was preceded in death by his first wife, Carretta Benner Streetman and his second wife, Marilu Plaxco Dittrich Streetman.

Survivors include: his daughter, Mary Margaret Janak of Victoria; son, Coy Streetman, Jr. of Austin; step-son Gaines Dittrich of Overland Park, Kansas; grandchildren, Ashley Streetman, Gray Streetman, Mary Francis Streetman, Chris Streetman all of Austin, Robert Streetman of Winter Park, Colorado, Greg Janak of Dallas, Lisa Janak of Houston; five great-grandchildren.
