Rev. Hubert Hadley, 87 Fifth Street Columbus, Indiana The Rev. Hubert Hadley, 87, of Fifth Street, died at 3:40 a.m. Monday, March 1, 2010, at his daughter's home in Columbus. The Rev. Hadley retired as a tester at Cummins Engine Company in 1983 after 38 years of service. He had been pastor of several churches in the area, including Shiloh Separate Baptist Church, Jewell Village Separate Baptist Church and Pleasant Valley Separate Baptist Church, and also taught Sunday School, was a charter member and helped build Edinburgh Separate Baptist Church. He was a member of Diesel Workers Union. The funeral will be conducted at 1 p. m. Thursday at Edinburgh Separate Baptist Church, 1010 S. Main St., Edinburgh, with the Rev. Mark Polston and the Rev. Guy Hardin officiating. Calling will be at the church from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday and one hour prior to the service Thursday. Burial will be at Rest Haven Cemetery in Edinburgh. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association. Arrangements were made by Myers-Reed Chapel on 25th Street. Online condolences may be sent to the family at www.myers-reed.com.
