Mrs. Lawrence F. Russ Sr., 72 of 406 Wallace Ave., died Friday at St. Anthony Hospital. She was the former Mary B. Luckett, a native of Lebanon. Survivors besides her husband include two sons, Lawrence F. Jr. and Karl J. Russ; five daughters, Mrs. Mary Ann Barnett, Mrs. LaVerne Miller, Mrs. Betty Rohleder, Miss Dorothy Russ and Mrs. Nancy Brown; a brother, Guy Luckett of Lebanon; 20 grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren. The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Monday at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, 512 Breckenridge Lane, with burial in Calvary Cemetery. Visitation at Ratterman's, 3711 Lexington Raod, will be from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday. The family requests that expressions of sympathy take the form of contributions to Mass of the Air.

Mary Benedee Luckett Russ, 72, died at 9 p.m. May 15 at St. Anthony Hospital in Louisville. Mrs. Russ was a native of Marion County. She was preceded in death by her parents, Edward and Gertrude Mattingly Luckett, and a sister, Mary Jeanette Luckett. Survivors include: her husband, Lawrence Russ; two sons, Larry and Karl Russ; five daughters, Mrs. Mary Ann Barnett, Mrs. Laverne Miller, Miss Dorothy Russ, Mrs. Betty Rohleder and Mrs. Nancy Brown; 20 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren, of Louisville; one brother, Guy Luckett of Lebanon. Funeral services were conducted at 11 a.m. May 18 at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church with burial in Calvary Cemetery, Louisville. Ratterman's Funeral Home, 3811 Lexington Road, Louisville, was in charge of the arrangements.
