ALOYSIUS "ALOIS" KETTLER, 50, died of pneumonia at 11:25 p.m. Tuesday at his home in Fairdale. He had been ill for two years. Kettler was a former employee of the Jeffersonville Boat and Machine Company and later worked for Carrell-Rogers Company, a carpeting concern. He is survived by his wife, the former Thelma Nelson; a son, Lawrence; his father, George Kettler; four sisters, Misses Dorothy and Margaret Kettler; Mrs. Elvira Singleton, and Mrs. Edwin Besser; a brother, Bernard Kettler. The funeral will be from Ratterman's, 2815 S. Fourth, at 8:30 a.m. Friday with services at 9 a.m. at St. Thomas More Church. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery.
