Cooperstown Junction, Oct.1 -Katherine Every,72 years of age and the wife of the late Alonzo B. Every, died at 3 p.m. on Saturday at her home in this place.
Mrs. Every suffered a shock about six weeks ago and had been in failing health ever since. She had a second shock on Thursday last and from this she never rallied.
The deceased was born in Bloomville, and was a daughter of the late Hiram Every. She married A.B. Every about 32 years ago and had lived at the Junction ever since. She is survived by three sisters, Mrs. T.C.Smythe of Portlandville, and Mrs. Jennie Allen and Mrs. Helen Borden, both of this place; also by two brothers, Isaac Every of Minnesota and Stephen Every, who resides in Norwich. She was a member of the Methodist Episcopal Church and was much loved and respected by all who knew her.
The funeral service will be held at her late home Tuesday at 2 p.m. Interment will be in the family plot in Bloomville.
