Sony a Marie Stewart, 21, died Aug. 7 due to injuries suffered in an automobile accident
in Rescue.
Ms. Stewart was born in Urbana, Illinois in December of 1974 and was a resident of
El Dorado Hills.
She was a student at Sierra Community College in Rodklin.
She is survived by her daughter, Kayla Marie Stewart of El Dorado Hills; mother
and stepfather, Debra Lalor and Terry Boehme of El Dorado Hills; father and stepmother,
Jerry and Kathy Stewart of Illinois; sisters, Nikki Lynch of Mississippi, Ann
Stewart of Illinois and Shelly Stewart of Illinois; brother, Steven Reuber of El Dorado
Hills and Mike Reuber of Citrus Heights; maternal grandmother, Bonnie Sluck of Santa
Maria and paternal grandmother, Rose Stewart of Illinois.
A visitation was held on Thursday at the Reichert's Funeral Chapel in Citrus
Heights. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, Aug. 11 at the chapel. Interment
will follow at Gieen Valley Memorial Park in Rescue.
A trust fund has been established for her daughter, Kayla, at the First Interstate
Bank. Arrangements are being made by the Reichert's Funeral and Cremation Services
in Citrus Heights.
