CAMBRIDGE, O. - Earl R. Bloom, 82, of Cambridge, O. (formerly of Akron), died June 2 at City Hospital after a short illness. He was born in Luthersburg, Pa., lived in Akron 58 years, and the last 2 years in Cambridge. He was retired from Good Year Transportation Dept. after 34 years service. He was a member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church, and the Dale Bradley American Legion Post No. 596. He was a World War I Army veteran.
He is survived by his wife, Bessie F.; daughter, Mrs. Helen D. Moore, Cuyahoga Falls; sons, William C. and Raymond E. Bloom, of Akron; four grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; brother, Benjamin, and sister, Estella, in Dubois, Pa.
Funeral services will be at 3 p.m. Wednesday, at the Eckard-Baldwin Funeral Home, Pastor Marlo E. Fralick officiating. Interment in Hillside Memorial Park. Friends call at the funeral home Tuesday 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. (Eckard-Baldwin, 760 E. Market St., 535-7141.)

Services for Earl R. Bloom, Indian Camp (Cambridge R.D.1), will be conducted Wednesday, June 4, in Akron. Burial will be held at 3 p.m. Wednesday in Hillside Cemetery, Akron.
Mr. Bloom died Monday morning (June 2, 1975) at Akron City Hospital, where he had undergone surgery earlier.
He leaves his wife, the former Bessie Ross; two sons and one daughter, all of Akron.
