Alfred J. Parks of Richmond died March 12, 2010 in his home after a long illness. He was born May 1, 1933 in Winchester, KY to Irvin and Lilly Mullins Parks and lived in Richmond for 48 years.

He was the owner of Parks and Sons Construction, and was a member of Oak Park Pentecostal Church.

He is survived by his wife Christine of 54 years sons Darrell Parks of Pensacola, FL, Bryan Parks of Richmond, daughters Audrey Cunningham of Lynn, Joyce Moore of Richmond, 10 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren, sisters Audrey Marstella, Maude Christopher both of Winchester, KY several nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his parents, son Tim Parks, brother Henry Parks, sisters Pauline Puckett, Dorothy Banks, and Christine Allen.

Services will be 11 am Tuesday, March 16, 2010 at Stegall-Berheide-Orr Funeral Home with Rev. Kevin Shindoll. Burial will be in Goshen Cemetery. Friends may call from 4-8pm at the funeral home. Condolences may be sent to [email protected] or by visiting www.stegallberheideorr.com
