Mrs. Hemsath was born in Westerkappeln, Westfalen, Germany and came to the United States at the age of 2. She was married in 1892 to the late H. Henry Hemsath and lived in the same vicinity since that time.
Survivors include one son, Fred Hemsath, with whom she made her home; a brother, Fred Dieckbernd of Rockford, Ill., two sisters, Mrs. Mary Brinkmann of St. Charles and Mrs. Minnie Kolkmeier of Hartford, Wash.
