Mrs. Friederick Voland (nee Johanna Struppert) passed away in a hospital in Rochester, Minnesota on Saturday evening after an operation. She was born March 6th, 1847 in Metzleben, Germany and came to America and Milwaukee with her parents in 1853. She was married to Fred Voland for 38 years and lived in Thiensville before moving to the Plank Road near Kiel. She is survived by her husband who was disabled for the last 25 years, 3 daughters and 5 sons. The funeral is Wednesday at the Rockville Cemetery with Pastor Rech officiating.
