Ida was the daughter of George Hamilton Traylor and Jennie Charlotte Smith. In 1942 Ida owned Dunston Traylor's family land and dedicated one acre of land for cemetery purposes and provided for right of ingress and egress; the bounds and easements of said cemetery were surveyed in 1995. The cemetery had been in use by the Traylor family since the 1850's with the early burial of Dunston's twins.
