Mr. Maurice Waters Chiswell, 65, of Gaithersburg, died Tuesday, Feb. 23, at Shady Grove Adventist Hospital, Rockville.
He was the husband of Jean R., Chiswell.
Born in Dickerson, he was a son of the late Maurice H. and Marjorie Waters Chiswell.
Surviving, in addition to his wife, are three children, Patricia von Fremd of Georgia, and Stuart R. Chiswell and Linda Coates, both of Germantown; one brother, William L. Chiswell of Gaithersburg; and five grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 7-9 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 25, at Grace United Methodist Church, 119 N. Frederick Ave., Gaithersburg, and one hour prior to services at 11 a.m. Friday, Feb. 26, at the church. Interment will be in Monocacy Cemetery, Beallsville.
In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may be made to Grace United Methodist Church. Arrangements were handled by the Hilton Funeral Home in Barnesville.
