Funeral services for Norman Wootton, 70, member of one of Montgomery County's oldest and most prominent families, were held Saturday at Silver Spring. Burial was in Monocacy Cemetery, Beallsville.
Mr. Wootton, who was born in Poolesville and had always lived in Montgomery County, was a son of the late Dr. Edward Wootton, who was at one time member of the State Senate. He had lived at Silver Spring for about fifteen years. He is survived by his widow, Mrs. Edith Chiswell Wootton; four daughters, three sons, a sister and four brothers.
