William was born at Kurrajong in 1843. Just a few years later (certainly by 1850) his parents separated and his mother bore 6 more children to Charles Jones. Some time around the late 1850's or early 1860's his mother and her new family settled around Brushy Hill/ Gundy to the east of Scone.
In 1865 William married Susannah Riley at Muswellbrook.
William Honnery passed away in 1926. It seems that by then he and his family were around Warialda where his wife's family had settled. Susanna's mother had died near there in 1885.
