The remains of John Nattress who formerly lived near here were brought here for burial. They were accompanied from his brother's home at Storm Lake, Iowa where for some time he had made his home by his brother, Joseph Nattress, and brother in law, Mr. Mafson.
Funeral services had been held at Storm Lake and they arrived here Saturday morning. The body was taken to the undertaking parlors and from there to Highland cemetery where Rev. F.F. Adams read the burial service.
The following old friends acted as pallbearers: W.C. White, E.J. White, Richard Berryman, Chas. Roberts, W.H. Smith, Manley Smith. Mr. Nattress lived around here for a good many years and had many warm friends here. He was past 80 years of age and had been in poor health for some time.
