Cassandra Bailey Boswell was a daughter of Captain Edwin Bailey and Isabella Frazer Bailey. She was born to a Fell's Point seafaring family. Her brother, Edwin, was also a sea captain, as was her grandfather, Captain James Frazier. She was a twin of Margaret Bailey, who married George Warfield Davis. This writer owns photographs of Cassandra and a gift her brother brought back for her from England to celebrate her 12 birthday, as well as photographs of her twin and brother Edwin and nephew, Walter T. Davis. I will not publish a photo of Cassandra yet to prevent it being uploaded to another website before I have a chance to publish a document on this family.
