Mrs. Ella Larned Expires Friday
---Mrs. Ella Allen Larned of Lyon Lake, died at 7 p. m. last night at her residence.
---The youngest daughter of Elida Burland and Ethan Allen, she was born in Athens, September 3, 1889. She graduated from Marshall high school in 1908, and attended the University of Michigan during 1908 and 1909. She taught in the public schools in Calhoun county for several years.
---She was a member of Trinity Episcopal church, and of the Dental Assistants society of Battle Creek. On August 11, 1921 she was married from the home of her parents, to Dr. Claude S. Larned of Battle Creek. From the time of her marriage she assisted him in his dental office until they were both totally disabled in an automobile accident in Marshall, March 17, 1953.
---Mrs. Larned is survived by her husband, one sister, Mrs. Florence A. Sweet of Lyon lake; one step-son, Berle Larned of Denver, Col.; one step-daughter Mrs. Helen M. Barrus of Duarte, Calif.; six step grand children; and five step-great grand children.
---Funeral services will be held Monday at 2:30 p. m. from the Court Funeral home with the Rev. John L. Knapp of Trinity Episcopal church officiating. Interment will follow in the family plot in Oakridge cemetery. Friends who wish, may call at the funeral home.
