Ada A. Burpee
Ada A. Burpee, daughter of the late Samuel and Mar Burpee, pioneer residents of Marshall, passed away at 9:20 a. m. today at the home of Dean Way, near Bellevue, where she had made her home for the past several years. Miss Burpee was born Jan. 7, 1862, in Marshall, and spent her entire life in this vicinity. Her father was postmaster of Marshall for several years and also operated a hardware store here. She was a member of Trinity Episcopal church and is survived by three cousins. Prior to moving to Bellevue, Miss Burpee resided at 15 North Eagle street, the home recently purchased by Leo Beck.
Friends may call at the Kelser funeral home, where services will be held at 2:00 p. m., Friday, with the Rev. John Knapp officiating. Burial will be made in Oakridge cemetery.
