Rensselaer — Mrs. Nancy Ann
Martin, 69 of Monticello, died at
the Jasper county hospital here.
Mrs. Martin was born near
Crawfordsville, and married Geo.
W. Martin, who died 19 years ago.
The couple had farmed for many
years, before Mr. Martin's death
near Wolcott. Surviving are nine
daughters: Mrs. Elizabeth Carmany,
Winamac; Mrs. Minnie
Ashley, Remington; Mrs. Ella
Branneman and Mrs. Sarah Kilmer,
both of Rensselaer; Mrs. Bertha
Ray, Kalamazoo, Mich.; Mrs.
Thelma Herr, Gary; Mrs. Lela
Harris, Mrs. Helen Owens and Mrs.
Ollie Woods all of Monticello; two
sons: Lewis, of Winamac, and
Hillis, Gary; a sister, Mrs. Laura
Jimerson, Romney, and a brother,
Nathan Coleman, Logansport.
Funeral rites were Tuesday
from the W. J. Wright funeral
home here; burial in Weston
cemetery.
