Injuiries Fatal To Magee High School Student
Funeral services were conducted for Peggy Jane Bynum, 17, of Martlnville Wednesday morning at ten o'clock from Good Hope Baptist Church with Revs.Melvin Myers and; J. O. Easterling officiating. Interment was in Good Hope cemetery with Mendenhall Funeral Home In charge. The body rested at Mims Mitchell Funeral Hojne until the funeral hour.
Miss Bynum died Monday afternoon from injuries sustained in an automobile accident in Jackson New Year's eve. She was a member of the junior class at Magee High School, member: of the basketball team, and very active in work at Good Hope Church.
Survivors include her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Floyd F. Bynum of Martinvllle; two brothers, O'Quin and Glen of Louisville, Ky.; three sisters, Regina Beth, Brenda, and Sylvia Ann, all of Martinvllle.
Active pallbearers were members of Magee basketball team Robert Lang, Homer Lang, Amy Green, Toby Fortenberry, Melton Griffith, and David Kennedy.
