Funeral services for Mrs. Blanche Reeder Carroll, will be held at 1 p.m. on Friday, March 12, 2010 in the Chapel of Rush Funeral Home, Pineville, with Reverend Stewart Holloway officiating. Interment will be in Greenwood Cemetery, Pineville, under the direction of Rush Funeral Home, Pineville.
Mrs. Carroll, age 90, of Pineville, entered eternal rest on Wednesday, March 10, 2010, at The Oaks Care Center in Pineville. She was a native of Pineville. She was a homemaker. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Pineville. She loved to sew and spend time in her garden.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Columbus Kelly Carroll; parents, William Henry Reeder and Eliza Wade Reeder; three sons, Columbus Blanchard Carroll, Gerald Larry Carroll and infant son, Howell W. Carroll; five brothers, Elmer Reeder, Robert Reeder, Vance Reeder, R.V. Reeder, Aubrey "Bud" Reeder; four sisters, Essie Garlington, Inez Cooley, Opal Vallery and Jesse Frances Reeder.
She is survived by one son, Paul M. Carroll (Maria) of Sunset; two daughters, Betty Owen of Pineville, Kelly K. Bailey of Pineville; one sister, Will Henry "Bill" White (Leon) of Flatwoods; numerous nieces, nephews, grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
