Mrs. Fred L Prueter, 69, of 428 Chicago St., Kiel, died at 8:45 p.m. at her home. She had been in ill health for several months.
Mrs. Prueter was born Hilda Hahn Dec. 9, 1892, in the Town of Meeme, daughter of the late William and Wilhelmina Pappendick Hahn. She was baptized and confirmed at St. John United Church of Christ in the Town of Herman. She attended district school in the Town of Meeme and Jan. 18, 1917, she was married to Fred Prueter of the Town of Schleswig. The couple farmed in Schleswig until 17, years ago when they moved to Kiel. Mrs. Prueter was a member of St. Peter United Church of Christ at Kiel, the Woman's Guild and Sewing Circle of the church and the Merry Go-Round Home Makers of Rockville.
Survivors include her husband, a brother, William of Black Creek and 12 nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a sister.
