Doris (Dolph) Cole , 84, went into the presence of Her Lord, Jesus Christ, on Sunday evening, April 30, at St. Augusta Cottage of South Bend. She was the only child of Charles and Lola Dolph, who preceded her in death.

She married Harold M. "Chief" Cole on June 17, 1962. He preceded her in death on May 8, 1990. She and Harold both accepted Jesus Christ as their forgiveness for sin. Doris is now with Him in Heaven, with her body whole and beautiful before Him.

Doris retired from 1st Source Bank of South Bend.

She is survived by many stepchildren, church family members and friends.

Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, May 3, 2006, at Lakeside Baptist Church in Lakeville, Ind. Visitation will be one hour prior to the services. Burial will follow at Southlawn Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Lakeside Baptist Church.
