Mr. Isaac Allen, Quirindi.
The death occurred at Quirindi on the 4th inst of Mr. Isaac Allen, aged 61 years. The funeral took place on Friday, June 6, a service being held at the house prior to the cortege proceeding to the Church of England cemetery. The deceased was born at Richmond, N.S.W., N.S.W., and spent about 30 years in Quirindi. For about 24 years the late Mr. Allen managed East View for the late Mr. Thos. Britton, and lately held the position of common ranger for the municipal council, which he had to relinquish owing to his failing health. He leaves a widow and five daughters and two sons. His brothers are Edward Allen (Moree), George Allen (Narrabri), Arthur Allen (Newcastle), and sisters Mrs. Robert Cannell (Homebush), and Mrs. Albert McMillan (Bathurst).
