Carter T. Allingham, 71, 605 Killingsworth avenue, son of Oregon Pioneers, died at his home Saturday, March 30. He was educated at Crawfordsville and Brownsville in Linn county and in 1888 married Margaret C. Shepherd of Halsey. They moved to Portland, June 16, 1916. Mr. Allingham is survived by his widow, Margaret; a son, William D. Allingham, a teacher in the Benson Polytechnic school; four brothers, W.M. Allingham of Woodburn, L.E. Allingham of Willits, Calif., O.D. Allingham of Bend and Guy Allingham of Grandview, Washington, and a sister Miss Dollie Allingham of Salem. Mr. Allingham belonged to both the Odd Fellow and Rebekah orders. He was buried in the Pine Grove cemetery near Halsey.
