Bessie DeMaris Dies At 81 Years of Age
Bessie DeMaris, widow of George B DeMaris, county probation officer for many years, died early today at the age of 81.
Mrs. DeMaris, born in Centre Grove, had resided all of her life in Cedarville and was a member of the Methodist Church of the community. She also belonged to the Woman's Christian Temperance Union.
Mrs. DeMaris, who had been in failing health for six weeks, is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Nellie DeBere, Cedarville, and Mrs. Almah Robbins, Port Norris; five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at the Chapel of Francis H. Tongue, Jr., Cedarville, Sunday afternoon at 2 o'clock. Interment will be in Cedar Hill Cemetery, Cedarville. Friends may call Saturday between 7 and 8:30.
